E-Newsletter FAQs Troubleshooting Guide Glossary Links Indalco expands footprint by acquiring new building As part of our ongoing strategic reinvestment and growth plan, Indalco has purchased additional manufacturing space in Mississauga Ontario adjacent to it's existing facility. This new investment of over 50,000 square feet of space will allow Indalco to significantly increase capacity and improve it's ability to service it's global customer base. Indalco completes the launch of it's new bulk package The new bulk packs are now available in 3/64" (1.2 mm ) and 1/16" (1.6 mm) for all alloys in the 5XXX series of welding wires. These packs are perfect for highly automated welding cells, where downtime is an expensive proposition. At 300 lbs (136 kgs) these packs eliminate many costly spool changes. Additonally they are a completely recyclable package, minimizing our customers environmental impact. Indalco Alloys ISO 14001 Certification Indalco Alloys is pleased to announce ISO 14001:2004 certification, an international standard for environmental management systems and procedures. Achievement of this certification has reinforced and aided Indalco by providing: ·Assurance to stakeholders that our business is environmentally responsible. ·A platform for us to demonstrate our commitment to environmental awareness, compliance, waste reduction and continual improvement. ·A means to reduce environmental liability and risk, and improve business performance.
